I think that this may be about joining a server. Was it the list or something else?

joining a server... it stays on the Connecting... screen and then has an error, and then i can't reconnect! it says: "You can't connect to the server! It's probably down!" it was looking like the JAR file wouldn't download, but i didn't know.

Try deleting the classicube files from the roaming. Then reopen the launcher

The server is probably down. Because the Minecraft.net server is broken a lot of servers on it are old duplicates or servers that just don't exist anymore.

They are mostly spammed servers, broken one's, or not portforwarded
