If I launch the game with a client and connect to any server, I see the game for less than a second then it closes. If I launch the game online I see a black screen and that's it. I've tried running the game as admin and I already lowered my Java security settings. I also have Java 7 installed and use Google Chrome.
Please help. -A very frustrated person

You may should try out the standalone client and if there's a crash report, post it here.

Debug log would be helpful, but right off the bat i can tell you it sounds like you have outdated graphics drivers.
Based on previous experiences, you probably have intel graphics, so you should go update those. here
