My idea: One should write to every contact (s)he has in skype about classicube.

A message like:

You don't like the direction which Minecraft is heading to?

Yes, I think we need to advertise it. Not only are we losing players, but many owners attempt to stop at nothing to get the handful of players who actually still play. I think we could also describe how well Classicube is with the pros it has compared to what normal mc is now. Like the fact you can see and have your own skin, the more block options, a client in the game, ability to staturate, and it still maintains the positive vibes you got when you played Classic when it was still alive.

It looks like I'm the only one here, who thinks that ads won't change anything. For me ads are basically spam and I don't think many other people have other opinion. To revive the game you don't have to spam - you have to change something cardinally, so that more people like it. ClassiCube is just a very limited sandbox, that lives only because some people like to play it. So, I have no idea how to put more people into it, but I don't think spamming is a good idea.

Advertisements can exist without being spam. For example, if you go on Speedrunslive's website, it's basically a big advertisement for speedrunner streams.

if you click on the max players list so stands it like this: This server list is very old, unmaintained and includes many broken servers. For an updated version of classic with working servers and an active community, check out www.classicube.net! and then it starts to come 100 of this: All go to classicube.net so it looks like someone have destroyed the minecraft classic list with ads!

I can make a ad animation if anyone wants it (ad for classicube)

As I remember, MC Classic's heartbeat feature doesn't work. The servers you're talking about are ad servers to promote CC, no destruction involved.

CC doesnt seem like it has a big difference since it was made in 2013. Theres still small amount of people in servers, but I made a video of CC

Whatever way Classicube is going to be advertised, don't go about it like the kids on YouTube ("Hi, I make vidoes like -BLANK- and it's really hard to get started! I promise I will make you laugh!") The forums idea seems like a good one, to me at least.

Srry guys. but I gave the best ideas to Dzienny that suits minecraft classic and classicube very well. They are better than the ideas I gave uptop. Btw, theres a server on CC that has a curse word..

Yep it has a curse word, which for me it's horrible. should we rename it or something, tell a owner to rename the server with curse word.

ask the owner of that server nicely to change it.

If I implement a filter, people will just look for ways around it.

I'm pretty sure the best and easiest way to advertise is just to tell your friends! You don't need fancy animations or ads to show people. I've gotten 5 of my friends that had never played classic before to try this and they love it. just a matter of not being afraid to get out there in person.

Yeah, word of mouth is literally the best method. 1000 ad impressions is about as good as 1 person just telling somebody they know.

More than 44 people watched my MC video..and there are Still very little peeps, and it has been more than a year. Maybe time to bring famous MC youtubers to CC for a while and attract people..

its very well getting people on classi but you need to keep them on. by having new games and bring people that like different types of games on. so you start off small keep coming on and slowly tell people and more will join if they enjoy it they will tell others and so on.
