So I noticed there is a 'save level' option in the singeplayer version of the game. Great! But... is there also a way to load your (singleplayer) game? Becuase I would hate to spend hours on a giant castle only to find out it's gone as soon as I close my browser...

I don't believe there is currently a way to load save files.
To get around this, you could host a non-public femtocraft server, which would be almost identical to singleplayer.
