Just edit it and remove it all.

That isn't the same thing as Nar wants but it works a lot better. Deleting posts can cause a lot of confusion.

This is why not even moderators can completely hide a post from users.

  1. Posts would randomly disappear.
  2. Page numbers wouldn't match up between moderators and users, or a page could be missing one or more of its posts (depending on how its handled)
  3. True deletion is silly.
