I have been on minecraft since the very early days, been admin on a few sites before they closed. I am now admin on a site called maiome24/7. I am not the owner, Kolt, who is the owner, has moved on but keeps the server up because I am looking after it. I keep losing the site and I suspect some of the problem is the WOM client I use. I have been advised to use this client (classicube) to try to solve the problem. I have loaded and run the site and succeeded in getting on one of the sites through classicube that failed to load when I used the button on the client to load the minecraft servers, I loaded the list of servers but when I clicked on the server I had just been on (gelman and friends) it failed to load. Maiome doesn't show up on the classicube list of sites. Is there anything that needs to be done to alter this? Has gelman registered his site or transferred anything? I have asked on the gelman website but not got a reply. If something needs to be done solely by the owner I could get in touch with Kolt and ask him if he would mind doing it, or if it needs registering can I do so? Thanks, if I get it to work on classicube I will be happy to continue to use classicube.

are you saying maiome should show up on the classicube lists? if so why do you think it shows up on the minecraft list if I press the button at the top of the classicube launcher and go to the minecraft list but not on the classicube list?
because in server options, you can choose where the server will be displayed with a heartbeat url, but if you just want to access the server from minecraft.net, open up your classicube standalone client, then click on switch to minecraft.net, then you can connect to minecraft.net, and there will be +hax, which means u can press z and x! BUT If you play Online, by url, which is https://minecraft.net/classic/list u cant use the z and x buttons to fly/go through walls. But if you use switch to minecraft.net with the standalone client, you can still use z and x, thats what makes the client special!!!!

try going on their server by minecraft.net and ask them to change there heartbeat url for classicube, so the server will show up on the lists, the heart beat url is http://www.classicube.net/server/heartbeat (http://www.classicube.net/heartbeat.jsp will also work)

Servers won't show up on our serverlist unless the server heartbeats to us - this is a really simple process to change to our services. Usually you just edit one line of code and reset your player data (to prevent stolen usernames from being a problem)

Yes instead of the software sending it to https://minecraft.net/heartbeat.jsp?blah blah blah, you change it http://classicube.net.....
Most of the time softwares will provide a switch or something to change it, for instance LegendCraft and GemsCraft in the Configuration, have a drop down menu, allowing you to select either ClassiCube or Minecraft.net.

is it possible to tell the software to send it to both? the reason I ask is that as an admin in maiome on WOM, I would like to do some testing by going on as a newb (with another account) the only other one I have on WOM is an e-mail account and if you press tab you can see the full e-mail address. Not a good idea.
I understand you can only get e-mail accounts now on minecraft, though I have just tried and can't even find where to register, I think they have removed every reference to classic.
If I ask Kolt (who owns the server) to swap it to classicube (I know he will if I ask) anyone who has WOM will not be able to go there anymore.

ClassiCube is completely free, so there's nothing stopping those people from using CC over the horridly broken MC.net.
