I never changed any of the controls and someone told me press f6 and it doesn't put me into third person... I checked if my f6 works on premium and it did... Any suggestions?

I think f6 only works if you can also use noclip.

Well, it depends what kind of server your playing on. some servers don't allow F6

Some servers doesn't allow F6, but if you are in the server that allows F6 and you're in Mac, try to do FN+F6, it might work.
