Are there particular ClassiCube servers that are most appropriate for a grade-school age minecraft beginner? For example, something like fcminecraft.org, but available to all and Classic rather than modern minecraft?

Not at the moment. Anyway, what's you're interest in making a kid friendly classicube server?
It would be only creative as survival is buggy as hell and incomplete at the moment.
