Using our standalone client, on the login screen, the top left button will allow you to switch between services. Change it to minecraft, log in with your minecraft.net account, and it will allow you to log in and play on servers that are only available on minecraft.net

Note: We have received reports of the standalone client behaving oddly when trying to log in with minecraft.net mode.
