As far as I know, attempting to run CS on mono on OSX has never worked for me, even while using the --arch=32 argument. Plus, more people have better luck with wine on OSX and Linux, albeit its not the best

Wine runs it via mono...
It 100% works with mono-complete on all popular flavors of linux.

I've been able to run it via mono on Mac OS without any issues
