So, I try to log into the ClassiCube launcher, but once i hit "Sign in" i get a message saying "Error 12045 when connecting to classicube.net" Can someone please help?

Error 12045 is a issue with validating classicube.net's SSL certificate, which can be caused by a lot of things.
Are you able to access classicube.net in your web browser without seeing SSL certificate warnings?
What operating system are you using? If it's just Windows XP with IE6, have to enable TLS 1.0 in Internet Options.
Is your connection behind a proxy (e.g. using at school)?

im using macos but the mac versions dont work for me so i am using Wine to open the windows copy

Have you typed 'chmod +x Classicube' in terminal yet to allow the game to be run as an executable? Or are you getting some other error on mac os?
