Help! Skin stuck with slim texture.

I made my own skin on skindex, and when i finished, i thought it looked good. so i went to classicube.net to change my skin to the one i made. After, I tested it out, and it had the alex texture so the arms and legs were skinny making my skin glitchy. anyone know how to make it steves texture?

It appears the skin you designed is ONLY using the outer skin layer.

You may need to design it to use the main skin layer.

i did. it used the main layer in modern minecraft.
