Step 1. Selecting an IRC network and creating a channel

If you already have a network/channel, skip this step.

1. Choose the network you wish to create a channel with. There are a lot of IRC networks such as Espernet, Freenode etc. For a list of the most popular ones click here.
2. You will most likely need to register an account which is typically done by typing /ns register (see your network's documentation for more information regarding registration).
3. Join your channel via /cs join #channel, e.g, /cs join #venkslobby.
4. If the channel is empty, type /cs register #channel.

You should now have a channel to host your IRC bridge.

Step 2. Linking to IRC via MCGalaxy

1. Open your server console.
2. Click on settings and then IRC/SQL.
3. Click on the Use IRC check box.
4. Enter your network's credentials (see your network's information section). Put your channel under #channel. Now, if you want secret stuff to be shown in IRC such as clones, put the channel you would like in the Op Channel box. If not, just leave it blank.

Click save, restart your server and you're done!
