Custom blocks, enviornment, getting your own level/multiple levels, may as well be no height limit. Also, open source. You could make your own ClassiCube client if you want to, even based off the official one or based off ClassicalSharp, or add features to the official client with pull requests. Also, hax. Also, easier to host, and all teh fancy server guis. (Another benefit - open source servers, and open server standard, the previous statements made for the client apply to the server software as well.) Also, many different server software to choose from.
